When I think of making the world a better place, I reflect on how much inspiration and joy I have gotten from watching various TED Talks. Since discovering that first one I saw ( Ken Robinson ) so many years ago, I have made it a point to at least "see" the TED.com website every day. I'm a bit early for my appointment this afternoon, so when I sat down and saw this flyer on the wall I thought I'd share. Seems like they are addressing multiple areas of focus, simultaneously: Psychology. Sociology. Technology. Whenever I think about how the mind works, I think about habits, practices and the things that happen auto-matically. Seems like that first one - for anyone who already smokes - is in the "Zero Sum Game" area of health.
