Do you believe in the power of prayer? I have incredible readers. This week I’m burdened with several issues involving other people. I’m burdened with: A few marriages I know that are falling apart… A pastor I know who is ready to quit… Several people who are battling cancer… Some families grieving the loss of a loved one… I’m also praying for an incredible day at Grace Community Church tomorrow.

This week, I want to encourage you to do something special with the memory verse. Write it on an index card or something similar. Place it where you will see it every morning…perhaps like a mirror where you get ready. Read it a few times everyday. Then pray it as a prayer. Here is this week’s memory verse: Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.

Are your children a bridge or a wedge in your marriage? Wedge: Many parents allow children to be a wedge between them. They have separate discipline policies, differing goals for the children, and different methods of communicating with the children. They talk negatively to the children about the other parent and force the children to take sides between the parents.
