I had been bitten by the travel bug. I soon thereafter began traveling for for my job, and went out west to visit friends when I got time off work. Finally, I began traveling abroad on vacations, more to study and learn than as a holiday. It will cost money and gobble up some time, but it will be worth it.

Air travel has ground to a halt, while the number of journeys we take by car, train, and bus have significantly fallen. It resulted in a crash in oil prices, but also a significant reduction in air pollution. Unprecedented fall.
