"Why People Usually DON'T Give Their Best Effort" - Effective Leadership Video #2

Not long ago, Meredith Bell and I turned the cameras on to record a discussion we were having about leadership. The result is a series of eight brief videos that summarize fundamental concepts every manager should keep in mind when trying to lead effectively.

It's absolutely-must-know basic stuff, and mst managers have had no exposure to these concepts.

Video #2 is about why people give their best effort. And why they usually don't. People working at their best individually and as a team is the holy grail of every leader. Unfortunately, in the real world of work this level of effort is rare. The video explains what managers can do about it.
