The vague question pops up out of nowhere in the middle of an employee evaluation and most of us haven’t had a chance to phrase our answers in a PC manner… Being specific is an excellent tactic, I think it gives the employee a specific situation to analyze and provide thoughts or suggestions on. PL ANS THAT DELIVER RESULTS I'm not one for big complex plans. I do like to DREAM BIG, but generally, I think plans work best when they are built to achieve RESULTS. So my method is to set 3-5 specific goal-directed actions at a time. When I get them accomplished, then I plan 3-5 more. Learn how.
