I read a book by Anne Bruce, Brenda Hampel and Erika Lamont called " Solving Employee Performance Problems - How to Spot Problems Early, Take Appropriate Action and Bring Out the Best In Everyone ". I tend to prefer books with more positive titles (although bringing out the best is positive).

Basil Peters, a famous angel investor wrote a book Early Exits - Exit Strategies for Entrepreneurs and Angel Investors (and maybe not VCs). Thedford is straightforward about why he wrote the book. McQueen is well known for writing Canadian business books. I like his general positivity and objectivity. He is an excellent writer.

I read a great book - Clean Energy Nation - Freeing America from the Tyranny of Fossil Fuels by Congressman Jerry McNerney Ph.D. Brother Lyle runs a biodiesel refinery, taught it at a community college and wrote a book on biodiesel. In Canada, I had solar on the house and was a net positive producer. It is a worthwhile book.

So of course I was interested to read Laurence Weinzimmer and Jim McCooughey's book - The Widsom of Failure - How to Learn the Tough Leadership Lessons Without Paying the Price. but when we are in the same position, we, too, often fail.
