A few things I've noticed while teaching ethical decision making over the years.
- People hunger to talk about ethics. Many of them have had minimal guidance on how to make ethical decisions.
- Due to a heavy emphasis on achieving goals and results, employees often feel as if they need permission to be ethical.
- The various guidelines that are commonly used can quickly encounter complications.
- An especially challenging situation is when Right collides with Right.
My online class on ethical decision-making - Practical Ethics for Honest People - is finally up and can be found here,
Check it out. I think you'll like it.
