This phrase comes from the book Good to Great by Jim Collins. I spent 3 months really trying to help her be as effective as the rest of the team. Unfortunately, she still wasn’t getting it. Lesson number two: Get the right people on the bus. Plain and simply, Carol was a dedicated employee but her skills were a poor fit for the specific job.
