A great way to think about this is to consider how a sports team works together to achieve a common goal. Rather, they care about the end result because they feel a sense of shared ownership in what the team achieves, regardless of who might score the winning goal.

Leadership programs often emphasize the operational mechanics of leading – planning, organizing, budgeting, or content that leans more toward management, such as delegating, time management, and giving feedback.
