How We’re Making an Impact (and How You Can Help!)

For the past 15 years of building The Roundtable, I have always had a bigger vision to make a deeper impact in our broader community. Over the years we’ve given both direct donations and gifts-in-kind to a wealth of deserving charities, but my personal goal was always to find a group that we could really make a long-term impact with.

The grisly discovery of 215 Indigenous children buried in mass graves in Kamloops BC in 2021 deeply affected me and members of the team and gave us a cause that we knew we wanted to rally behind.

In January of 2022, we created The Roundtable Leadership Bursary in partnership with Indspire, a national charity that supports Indigenous youth with post-secondary ambitions. This year we will be supporting two students.

That’s a great start, but we want to do more.

We’ve decided to set a “Big Hairy Audacious Goal” (BHAG) to make a difference. To honour the legacy of the Kamloops 215, we want to provide 215 university scholarships over the next 5 years.

And, we’d love your support in our BHAG that we are calling #Impact215. There are three simple ways you can help:

  • Refer a colleague to a Roundtable program. We have committed to taking a percentage of all referral sales that we receive and putting those monies towards funding more #Impact215 bursaries. Contact us here.
  • Make a donation directly to The Roundtable Leadership Bursary. Any amount will make a big difference and help us fund more students. Donate here.
  • Commit to truth and reconciliation. Take the corporate pledge for Truth and Reconciliation  or enrol in the program How to Be an Ally developed by the Indigenous Training Corporation Inc.

Thank you for your consideration and support of #Impact215.
