Consider the Small

Instead of One Big Solution, consider several minor ones which, when combined, can produce serious progress.

Instead of trying to spot One Big Problem, focus on and remove an accumulation of snares that may be just as harmful.

Of course, this is not either-or.

It is both-and.

But whether dealing with good or bad matters, be wary of dismissing the small as small.

Things converge.

Sounds like a job for a new committee..."The Small Problem Committee" To identify all the small problems and make them a big list....."The Big List of Small Problems" then report back. So now we can prioritise the Big List of Small Problems as a singular entity in the Big List of Big Problems, and since the Big List of Small problems is obviously too hard to solve we'll place it at the bottom of the list of the Big List of Big Problems.....

Don't you love logical thinking...

What if we empowered every employee to identify, offer solutions, and work together to solve small problems, now there is an idea......

Bob,

Along those lines: Home runs are nice, but most ballgames are won by base hits.
