Scripture Memorization, Week 38

By September 17, 2011Devotional, Encouragement

I know it says I can’t imagine it…but I love to think and dream about the things God has in store for us…

Here us this week’s memory verse:

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”

1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT

What can you imagine God has in store for you?

I've given up trying to imagine what God has in store for me. I'm learning–from looking at other people's lives as well as my own–that life doesn't always turn out like you plan.

I'm 29 years old. Around the time of my birthday, I made a "30 before 30" list–things I wanted to do before I turned 30. I've done some of the things on there, but honestly, the list was pretty lame. I didn't know what I wanted to do, so I just picked random things to get a list of 30.

However, this year has been such a great one for me. I'm doing some things that I never would have thought I'd be doing, and I'm more at peace now than I have been in the last few years. I love where I'm at right now!

So I don't have a great track record of imagining what God has in store for me. All I know is that He's going to make all things work together for my good…and I can't wait to see how it turns out! =)

Thanks for all the words of wisdom and encouragement that you share! I find your posts to be inspiring and easy to relate to. I can't imagine what God has in store for you, too… =)
