Are you in a sports car or a Model T? Are you taking meandering and bumpy dirt roads when there is a superhighway nearby? Is there a risk of running out of fuel? Do you need a new map? Are you lost or feel, as the old farmer said, "You can't get there from here?"
The choices may seem obvious and yet I've met many people who, when they consider their career, are lost on a country road with old map. That may be pleasant for the short-term but it may not get you to where you want to go and, if you don't watch out, you may never leave it.
