Top 10 Blog Posts Of All Time On Joseph Lalonde

I’ve always been fascinated by numbers. What do they represent? How can they be interpreted? How can I use numbers to extrapolate data?

All of these questions run through my mind when looking over analytical data.

Most popular blog posts

That’s why I’m glad Google provides Google Analytics for websites. Google Analytics lets me take a quick and easy look at the numbers behind my website.

Sometimes I’m surprised. Other times I’m not.

But one of the fascinating things I find is the most popular posts on this website. They’re not always what I think they would be and they’re probably not what you would think either.

Today, I want to share with you the top 10 leadership blog posts from my website.

Thoughts On My Top Blog Posts

There’s a lot of interesting information when I look at the top blog posts on my website. Some of them are shocking.

The first thing I noticed was my most popular article had to do with Bible verses. This surprised as I knew I had a large faith-based audience but I didn’t think a post sharing Bible verses for young leaders would do so well.

The second thing I noticed was that the Reel Leadership series of blog posts where I share leadership lessons from the movies does extremely well. Of the top 10 blog posts, 8 of them are from the Reel Leadership series. People are searching for and reading these articles.

I noticed this trend a while ago. This led me to begin writing my soon to be published book Reel Leadership. With the popularity of movie leadership lessons, I had to write something on the topic. Be on the lookout for the book soon!

The third thing I noticed was how well the leadership lessons from The Intern did. While The Intern was a great movie, I still cannot believe there are so many people searching for leadership lessons from The Intern. This article is the 2nd most popular article with almost 6% of total unique page views for the website. The lesson I learned here is that you cannot predict what will do well. Sometimes there will be an article that takes off and you have no idea why.

The last thing I wanted to mention when looking at my top blog posts is the fact that you can look at your Google Analytics and begin crafting content around the data you find there. For me, it’s been creating more Reel Leadership articles because that is what is bringing in traffic and time on page. For you, you may find a specific type of article does well. Begin crafting content around the popular content and see what happens.

Question: Now that I’ve shared my most popular posts, would you share your most popular post in the comment section below? It’s time to let your website be known!
