Some Life Lessons

There are days when no one in the room is smart. Practice may not make perfect but it sure beats not practicing. Beware of anyone who loves regulations. Gain as much control of your time as possible and never let it go. Geniuses don't call themselves that. You are always neglecting something important. Learn the names of birds and trees. Put distance between yourself and those who cannot be trusted. Make sure your skepticism is tempered with humility. Choose your doctor and lawyer at least as carefully as you pick your automobile. Not every comment deserves an answer. 98% of success is execution. Sometimes you have to micromanage. Study failure from the outside so you'll spend less time studying it from the inside. Do not underestimate the power of indifference. Periodically check your path. Find out if your dream is a park or a prison. When you are with a pleasant person, take more time. Learn how to spot weasel words. Listen to the music of other generations. Have an endeavor or hobby related to beauty. Know the terrain. Never take people for granted. Listen for the unsaid. Live life consciously. Be thankful you're here.

Learn to make use of your non-productive time. I have found I have much more of than than productive time, and so even a little use of it yields great benefits.
