Morale: Your Own

There are days to build the morale of others and days to work on our own. On the latter days, we tell ourselves:

  • "Count your blessings."
  • "It could be worse."
  • "Don't let the bastards grind you down."
  • "He who keeps score always loses."
  • "This too shall pass."
It may be that by helping to boost the morale of others, we also boost our own.

And yet. . . .

We search to answer the "And yet."

Mr. Wade, you had me going there and then left me hanging with And then...
We do want to ensure we are boosting the morale of others while keeping our morale chest full too. I find the best way to keep myself upbeat is considering my Blessings, yes; and looking toward the good things I have coming up on the horizon.

I use exactly the same technique!
