At SquawkPoint, James Lawther gives an alternative to the mantra of "under-promise and over-deliver."

I'm still thinking about his idea but if it turned out to be feasible on a regular basis, I'd wonder about how we'd set our performance standards in the first place. There is also the question of what it would do to customer expectations.
