Share, congratulate, thank, repeat

I need you to do some homework this weekend.

First, I want you to think about YOU.  I want you to remember what your New Year’s Resolution was for 2011.  Did you write it down?  What milestones have you met along the way?  Are you closer to achieving those goals?  You’ve had two months to work towards it, what do you have to show for it?

You can help too.

I’d love to hear what YOU are working towards.  Can you help support the rest of the readers and encourage them along their path?

Second, there are dozens of daily readers that come to this blog to see what Reiter Thinks.  YOU keep coming because you like what you are reading.  And for that, I thank you.  I LOVE to respond to comments.  So thanks for that too.

Please post what milestones you have achieved along the way and congratulate those who are achieving or those that needs a little support.

We need to celebrate those little victories together, no matter how small, along our climb towards success.

    I’ll be happy to start.

First I’d like to thank my buddy Mikey. Together we are following our passion. Creating opportunities to help others. So thanks.

I’d also like to thank my wife for the free, brain storming sessions. I’d owe her a million dollars if she ever sent me an invoice.

My current projects are, expanding my own business through targeted marketing and empowering the right people to make key decisions.

I am also helping others achieve their business goals this year too.

The power of the daily blog is really starting to grow. Thank you for reading Your emails and fb comments have been a lot of fun. Have a great weekend.

Definitely. First, I am 55 days nicotine free. That’s my biggest accomplishment in the new year, starting just a few days after the new year started. I’ve also lost 6 lbs total weight gained about the same in muscle mass, losing roughly an inch of my waistline so far. I’ve been eating healthier meals daily and I’m starting my second month of calorie and exercise tracking. Taking care of my body is the priority of 2011, I really let myself down in 2010. After the first month of plodding along it seems so much easier now to keep to a healthy schedule. Anything new is hard at first, but with time it becomes easier. Push yourself today and you will see endless results in days ahead.

Congratulations Andrew! That is a BIG DEAL. Keep it up and don’t let the never ending temptation for “just one little puff” get to you.

I keep reminding myself how miserable I was for many weeks after I quit, just to keep it fresh in my mind. I NEVER want to go through that process again. (My husband would be really grateful if that Wicked Witch never returns, too!)

And weigth loss, too. I am so impressed!

This was the most viewed blog post of the month but one of the only ones without a comment. I hope everyone took it to heart and spread the “thanks” around.

I stand corrected! Andrew posted but his comment was stuck in my spam filter.

Great job quitting the nicotine habit. Dropping an inch of waistline is a big accomplishment. Now that I don’t have a requirement to do daily PT, I watch what I eat a lot more so I understand your struggle.

Tracking the calories is essential. It makes your long term goal real by seeing the reinforcement everyday in your log. I know in your line of work, (Army Officer), your physical fitness is a key component to your success. Even if you ride a desk you need to be fit to work the long hours. It helps you stay mentally sharp and is a great stress reliever.

Keep up the good work living your healthy lifestyle.
