The leader-first and the servant-first are two extreme types. Some of these servant leaders express reluctance to “impose” on others to help with the workload. When you can begin to refuse to do the things that have lower impact for you and the organization, you are on your way to truly being a servant leader.

Humility also happens to be the surest sign of authenticity in someone who claims to be a servant leader. Is it possible to be a leader without being humble? I have always been intrigued by the concept of the "servant leader" a term coined I think by Robert K. Mitch A very good article, thanks.
