Here is the New York Times Business Books Best Sellers List for January, 2015 – Tony Robbins at #1

Here is the New York Times Business Books Best Sellers List for January, 2015.

Money master the gameTony Robbins is at the number one spot. And, his book is the newest book (most recently published) on the list. A couple of others are fairly recent – but a few have been around a while: Outliers; Thinking, Fast and Slow; The Power of Habit especially.

It seems to me that we are partly in a “how did we get to here” mindset. The Innovators by Walter Isaacson and How We Got to Now by Steven Johnson are definitely helping us know the answer to that inquiry.

At our First Friday Book Synopsis in Dallas, we present synopses of two business books each month. I have presented a synopsis of The Innovators, Outliers, Flash Boys, The Power of Habit, and Zero to One from this month’s list. And my colleague, Karl Krayer, presented a synopsis of Thinking, Fast and Slow.

(Our synopses are available, with our comprehensive, multi-page handouts, along with the audio of our presentations, at our companion web site, 15minutebusinessbooks.com. I think you would find these useful, especially for books you have not made time to read).

Here is the January New York Times list.  Click through to the NY Times site for a brief description of each book.
