Here’s the February, 2016 New York Times business books best sellers list. The Big Short by Michael Lewis is again at #1

There are a couple of newcomers to this month’s list. #2, The Power of Broke, is the work of Shark Tank’s Daymond John. He has quite a following.

The newcomer that most interests me is the new book by Robert M. Gates, A Passion for Leadership. Mr. Gates has worked with multiple U.S. Presidents (of both parties), a major university (he served as President of Texas A&M), and the CIA. I think he may have something to offer! I interrupted writing this blog post to download the sample pages on my Kindle App.A Passion for Leadership

I have presented synopses of five of the books on this month’s list at the First Friday Book Synopsis, our monthly event in Dallas: The Big Short The Power of Habit, Outliers, Extreme Ownership, and Elon Musk. And my colleague Karl Krayer has presented a synopsis of Thinking, Fast and Slow. (Our synopses, with our handouts plus the audio recordings of our presentations, are available at our companion site, 15minutebusinessboks.com).

Here’s the New York Times list. Click here to visit the NY Times site and learn a little more about each of these books.
