Here is the July Business Books Best Sellers list from the New York Times. For the second month in a row, Grit by Angela Duckworth sits at the top spot. My colleague Karl Krayer will present his synopsis of this book at the July 8 First Friday Book Synopsis. (Yes, the 2nd Friday of July, because of the holiday).

There are some new books on this list this month, but we are still represented well with our First Friday Book Synopsis selections. We’ve selected five of the 10 on this month’s list at our monthly event: I have presented synopses of Outliers, The Power of Habit, and Originals, and after next Friday, Karl will have presented synopses of Grit and Thinking, Fast and Slow.
I think I’ll take a good look at The Inevitable for a future session. The author’s current job is “Senior Maverick” of Wired, How cool is that?!
