I’ve selected Good Strategy/Bad Strategy: The Difference and Why It Matters 
by Richard Rumelt to present for the October 7 First Friday Book Synopsis.  I have not yet read, but I think that it will be an important and useful choice.  (You can read the review of the book by Bob Morris on our blog here – he is high on the book).

Though I have not yet read it, I have been thinking a lot about strategy.  And I think these are the options:

A company can have no strategy.
A company can have bad strategy.
A company can have good strategy.
Guess which one is better!

I suspect that there are as many “no strategy” companies as there are with “bad strategy” companies.  And the “good strategy” companies – well, I suspect that they are way too rare.

So, I’m looking forward to reading the book.
