Here’s the August, 2016 New York Times Business Books Best Sellers List – Grit by Angela Duckworth still sits at #1

GritFor the second month in a row, Grit by Angela Duckworth tops the New York Times August, 2016 Business Books Best Sellers list.

This month, more than some, demonstrates the enduring popularity of a number of bestselling books. Some of these books have been out for quite some time!

Of the ten books on this month’s list, I have presented synopses of 6 at our monthly First Friday Bok Synopsis in Dallas: Outliers, The Power of Habit, Originals, Contagious, Freakonomics, and The Tipping Point. (By the way, Malcolm Gladwell is the only author to appear on this month’s list with two books). And my colleague, Karl Krayer, has presented a synopsis of two of the books: Grit, and Thinking, Fast and Slow.

(You can purchase our synopses, with our comprehensive multi-page handouts the audio recordings of our presentations, at our companion site, 15minutebusinessbooks.com.

Here’s the August list. Click over to the New York Times site for a brief description of each of these books.
