Here is the New York Times November, 2013 Business Books Best Sellers List – Sandberg’s Lean In Still! at #1

Still the number one Business Book Best Seller
Still the number one Business Book Best Seller

The New York Times has made some changes to its monthly Business Books Best Sellers List.  Before, they provided two lists:  Hardcover, and Paperback.  Now, it is simply one list.

Thus, I assume (though, I could be wrong) that this list now includes best sellers from both Paperback and Hard Cover sales.

In addition, I do not know how they decide when a book is a “business” book.  For example, Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell (first published in 2008) is #2 on this month’s “Business Books Best Sellers” list.  But David and Goliath, his new book, is not on the “Business Books Best Sellers” list – though it is #2 on the overall Nonfiction Best Sellers list.

Of the ten Best Sellers on this list, I have presented my synopsis of three of them at our monthly Dallas event, the First Friday Book Synopsis (Lean In; Outliers; and Steve Jobs), and will present two others:  The Everything Store (scheduled for our the December event), and Focus, (scheduled for the January, 2014 event).

And, my colleague Karl Krayer has presented his synopsis of Thinking, Fast and Slow.

Here is the November, 2013 New York Times Business Best Sellers List.  (The New York Times includes brief descriptions of each book on their site.  Click here to read their list, with their brief descriptions).
