    Great advice here!

    Since we're talking about leaders, I'll add a couple more around a single principle:

    How you lead affects your time.

    1. Leading poorly can take more time than leading well. The example that jumps to mind is micro-managing. If you are doing your subordinates' jobs because you are micromanaging, you are spending time that you should spend doing something else.

    2. The second follows: if you are micromanaging, you are spending your subordinates' time poorly. Likewise, if you are delegating too much to a subordinate, you impinge on their ability to manage their time well. This can be summed up: Give your subordinates the ability to plan their time well by tasking them appropriately.
