Mine was legendary humorist and media figure Cactus Pryor. His father, Skinny Pryor, owned a movie theatre and entertained audiences with comedy routines during intermissions. Being one of a kind is a long quest. He joked that his made-up term meant “go to hell.” That first great mentor sticks with you always.
