A vital challenge on the journey to implement artificial intelligence (AI) is to strike a balance between using AI for automation and sustaining the unique value of human skills.

AI surpasses human competencies in speed in exploring huge sets of data, gathering from patterns and making informed decisions. No wonder, then, that AI enhances productivity, but it is not a holistic replacement for human abilities and skills (especially in terms of creativity, emotional intelligence and ingenuity).

The question, then, is: as a manager or leader, how can you strike this balance between AI and human skills in your team and your organisation?
