In November 2003, after due diligence, we announced our agreement to purchase 3721 for $120 million. The idea was simple: Combine the best of both companies into the new Yahoo China, which was projected to generate more than $25 million in revenue in 2004. Only legal, finance, and human resources still reported back to headquarters.
