One of the things that people don’t recognize is I made a speech in 2005, my last speech at the Jackson Hole conference , in which I was afraid to put a line in, so I put it in somewhat Fed-speak. I said, “Let’s remember that history has not dealt kindly with very prolonged low [risk] spreads.”
