Our competitors offered more channels at a very competitive price, and were able to mass market. The cable industry, on the other hand, had not kept pace in the quantity of their offerings, and paid the price. Sure, people left us on the one hand because someone was offering more at a competitive price.

It’s NOT about the lowest price, as you point out. i wrote about this here a few weeks ago ( [link] ) as relates to the American Booksellers Assoc suing Target, Walmart and Amazon for price cutting and threatening the local bookseller industry. One that will last a LIFETIME. How powerful is THAT?! What a missed opportunity here.
