With a resume like that, it’s easy to understand why Admiral Allen was asked to speak on “Leadership in a Time of Crisis.” You’d be hard pressed to find a leader who’s led more crisis responses with more distinction than Allen. The local officials had veto power.

Whenever some crisis loomed on the Voyager, she was known barking out: “Options?” Seth Godin calls it shipping, Mike Myatt calls it being an actionable leadership, and I will call it “mouthless [.] ” to the crew. After considering their suggestions, she was quick to make a decision.
