On Creative Accounting: Two Creativity Myths

Two myths about creativity underlie the squeamishness: First, that creativity is morally, ethically good. So, by definition, creativity is morally neutral. As long as the new ideas cohere with ethical standards, and generally accepted accounting principles ( GAAP ), they can yield immense benefits.
