All interesting stuff, and easy to jump on a soapbox about, but, the quote that caught my eye came from Ed Clark, President & CEO of TD Bank Financial Group. So, when Clark is quoted as predicting that a woman will eventually head up a bank… in about TWENTY years time, I did a double take. And, that’s my rant for today.

My next-door neighbor is a manager at Rackspace, so I continued reading. His Harvard classmates, who sought jobs at big consulting firms and investment banks, thought he was crazy. In 2000 he accepted a job as CFO at start-up Rackspace. His visionary and energetic leadership helped the company grow, and in 2006 he became CEO.
