In the movie Wall Street, Michael Douglas won an Oscar for his portrayal of the rude, larcenous wheeler-dealer Gordon Gekko. Leading by example can mean a lot more than leading by public-relations hype. He communicated clear expectations for ethics, values, and behavior. Michael Dell is a perfect example. Life is good.
