A few weeks later, I followed up with him. I realize we are all busy, but people are too valuable not to respond to them in a timely fashion. The bottom line is when you don’t respond to people you force them to create their own response. Even in the best environments, situations like the example above will happen.

A few weeks later, I followed up with him. I realize we all get busy and it may sometimes delay a response, but people are too valuable not to respond to them in a timely fashion. The bottom line is when you don’t respond to people you force them to create their own response. He was delighted at the invitation.
