Mine was legendary humorist and media figure Cactus Pryor. His father, Skinny Pryor, owned a movie theatre and entertained audiences with comedy routines during intermissions. The early days of television were creative. Music programming was important to Cactus Pryor and, thus, to me. He died August 30 at the age of 88.
