Another example of an infrastructure patch that has already gotten attention in the West is BRCK, the spin-off commercial service from renowned NGO Ushahidi. The theory is that this provides an incentive for African decision-makers to think more radically about leapfrogging than their counterparts saddled with baggage from a bygone era.
