The goal of a leader is not to clone him/herself, but to harness individual strenghts for the greater good of the team and for the overall benefit of the organization. In 2008, I saw people gripped with Scarcity as the market swooned and their savings or investments went with it. In my view, we must rely on ourselves to do our best, then be willing to delegate to our team. Their fear caused them to stop giving, stop investment in themselves and ‘go fetal.’ What would you say to that statement?
