An idea is not synonymous with a competitive advantage, an idea is not necessarily a sign of creativity, an idea does not constitute innovation, and as much as some people wish it was so, an idea is certainly not a business. This may be the first time in my career that I've been accused of taking a standard management approach.:)

It was a pain by then but during the rest of my career that mentality has stuck with me and I found that its always easier comming up with the simple solution in the first place rather than dealing with complex workflows until you have had enough and go back to simplify it.
