One of us wrote a book addressed at business titled Getting Green Done. The 2010 Deepwater Horizon disaster revealed that not only had BP not moved beyond petroleum, but that its former CEO John Browne, who launched the beyond petroleum campaign, never had support for his vision in the company. It arguably started with BP.
