Just the other day I was having a conversation with a good friend of mine who’s in a doctorate in leadership program but yet he finds himself reading a lot of Peter Drucker etc., and he was talking about how Drucker was one of the first people that elevated management as a thing to strive for. I think Henry Mintzberg coined it first.
