They cover how to overcome resistance and prepare an environment for change. When reading the book, my mind kept going back to Senge’s concept of mental models. Senge also recommended shifting mental models, however he doesn’t go into enough depth about just HOW to do that.

Peter Senge, founder of the Society of Organizational Learning and senior lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management, once observed, “Most managers do not reflect carefully on their actions.” Even Lincoln had to resist the “instantaneous nature of the telegraph.” Most managers are too busy “running” to reflect.
