One of the books was " The Synergist - how to Lead Your team to Predictable Success " by Les McKeown. I loved it and will share it with my team. They tend to move in fits and spurts from high productivity/creativity to idleness. And yes, the eggplants are small but still perfect. I did take a break and read a few books.

It starts with a chapter on communication and of course that started with listening. I know in my heart I can only learn from listening and I continue to remind myself to listen better.

I think it is partly because the time spend Seeing and Doing might have actually not been used productively at all. If I sit on a problem for too long, working on it in isolation, the whole team—and the launch timeline—may suffer. I think this is partly because home stuff tends to be similar in priority. But it's not the right impulse.
