For example, I might see an ad for a seminar entitled, 6 Ways To Increase Influence On Your Campus , followed by a descriptive list. I receive all kinds of advertisements from various training organizations. c) How to get people to show up to that new event.

You only need to attend this seminar or this conference. .” So true. So many attempt to define leadership in terms of only. You only need to know these four principles. You only need to read this book. Leadership is so much more than only. I would offer that leadership is more about “and” than it is about “only.”

The format followed the Ignite Seminar template – a speaker gets five minutes with 20 slides that transition every 15 seconds. I recently shared a five minute lesson with our current group of student leaders. It’s a fantastic way to engage those who lack the attention span.

In the end, whether it’s a leadership conference, seminar, workshop, or one-on-one, you have to ask yourself: Are my students going to be and become better leaders as a result of this experience? They need to see their position as a platform to accomplish some great things with the help of others. No related posts.
