Gwynne’s book jacket endorsement of Sebastian Junger’s newest book, Tribe: On Homecoming and Belonging. As one who has written more than his fair share of book blurbs, I can attest that when it comes to insight I typically look inside a book rather than to its back jacket. Not bad advice from a book jacket.

I’ve had issues with some of the concepts contained in Jim Collins book Good To Great since it was first released. Not only do I believe that most people should rethink aspects of Good To Great , but they should also reevaluate many best selling business books that use biased statistical data as a substitute for common sense business wisdom.
