Gang related deaths in the area of LA where Homeboy resides have declined by 75% since the bakery opened in 1992 and the LA police believe that Homeboy played a significant role in this.

To fix this they need to be sent to sensitivity, diversity and similar trainings on a yearly basis. One, “They need training&# ; the issues you speak of don’t get fixed by training. I don’t know how many incompetent executives there are but I would like to think there are many more that are competent.

Large corporations have HR departments that trained to help and also many have anonymous phone lines where you can report companies’ ethical violators, workplace abuse. By not doing anything you are just supporting bad management. Confronting a bad manager can be somewhat easier to do in large organizations but in small firms can be harder.

After college I participated in a program at Walt Disney World, where creating a pleasant work environment was part of their corporate culture and leadership training.
