I read a great book - Clean Energy Nation - Freeing America from the Tyranny of Fossil Fuels by Congressman Jerry McNerney Ph.D. Brother Glen started Skygeneration that sold to Sprott Energy (I count that as one of my successful exits this year even though Glen did all the work to make it happen). Tax energy use - do not subsidize it.

Improving Self Discipline for New Years Resolutions

So of course, I try to figure out how to have more success and this is the conclusion I reached: Self discipline is linked to energy levels. When I am well rested and high energy, I have the drive, motivation and focus to accomplish my goals. But this bout taught me to discipline/energy link so perhaps it did serve a good purpose.

I know from my study of Time Management that knowing your high energy times and spending them on high impact activities can amplify results. Use high energy times for high creativity tasks. Work to create more high energy times (mostly through good sleep habits and exercise). And use low energy times for “maintenance” tasks.
