He encouraged me to "re-think" energy buildup, storage and use. When I see this diagram, I consider our own human performance, the energy that we "drain" during the day, and then what we can do at the end of the day, at night, and during sleep, to store it up again. I attended a lecture by Gregg Maryniak at Singularity University.

The one thing I'd do, if I were you.

I like to see/hear what someone is doing with their energy, passion and interest. Not life-altering "shoulds" - just little chunks of information that could slowly shift your perspective away from the (as Ben Zander says) "negative spiral." I do this by watching a TED talk, most every morning.
