Unable to gain resolution with Delta, the two Staff Sgts filmed a YouTube video about the incident. Employee disengagement has reached crisis proportions as evidenced by a recent Mercer study that found that 50% of employees are checked out on the job. I'm fairly sure that the Delta employees who were demanding payment knew it.

Recently, we found ourselves in motivational seminars at our respective places of employment. The researchers asked their subjects to watch a film that would usually make them happy — a figure skater winning a medal. Both events preached the gospel of happiness. The other seminar involved mandatory dancing of the wilder kind.
